We all seek answers to the big questions. Who am I? Why am I here? How can I show up as my best self in every moment? Where lie the hidden lessons in this situation? Why do I keep repeating the same patterns in relationships? How can I honour my true self, and accept others as they are? What is blocking me from moving forward? What is the meaning behind my experiences of suffering? How can I be more at peace inside myself?
What parts of my psyche remain veiled from consciousness?
Indeed, life doesn’t come with an instruction booklet. At every moment, we are doing the best we can with the information we have in front of us.
But life does come with a map. And astrology offers us a map that can guide us through our journey.
Each individual birth chart is a unique map of the personality as revealed by the cosmos. It sheds light on our strengths and weaknesses; our tendencies toward certain psychological states, drives and motivations; our emotional reactions and instinctual habits; and our conscious and unconscious patterns of behaviour. By working with the birth chart we can better understand the things that motivate us to take action or cause us to pull away. When studying the birth chart under this lens, we become empowered individuals, able to move forward in life with a greater level of awareness. By understanding our intra-psychic dynamics, we understand how to better integrate those seemingly opposing forces within our psyche and reach a state of balance. We become whole.
But the map is not the territory.
The birth chart only comes alive with the presence of the living, breathing human being.
Each chart is unique, just as each human being is unique. Some parts of the map lead to unexplored territories, and some feel intimately familiar. And some trigger forgotten memories stored in the recesses of the mind.
The astrological consultation is an exchange of words, a dialogue. My role as an astrologer is to facilitate this exchange by inspiring your personal growth and evolution as we engage in an unfolding process of learning and unlearning, peeling back the layers to reach the core of your true authentic self.
The birth chart is not static. It shifts and moves with you as you flow through life, like a guide, a friend, or an inner teacher who walks with you in your journey of self-discovery, leading you towards the light of your true self. You begin to realize and see that everything that happens to you also lives inside you, ultimately serving the purpose of your becoming: who you are at heart and soul.
The greatest gift astrology has offered me is the gift of insight into the self, into others, and the spaces we occupy in this moment to moment movement we call life.
